Anahata, or heart chakra, is the fourth primary chakra and is associated with balance, calmness, and serenity. Paying close attention to each student's well being and ability, we believe that the connection of mind and body is crucial in everyone’s life. Anahata Yoga is a safe, judgement free space where you will be welcomed and celebrated! We are here to support you on your very personal wellness journey. We offer various styles of Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Dance and Meditation in the hopes that maybe one or more of these mindful movement practices might resonate with you. Self care is health care!

Hi! I am Cavin Moore, an Eastern Shore of Maryland and specifically Cambridge native. I have been practicing some form of mindful movement for as long as I can remember, chiefly in the form of dance. I have been practicing Yoga for 15 years and 5 years ago I decided to get certified to teach and received my RYT 200 from Every Body Yoga located in Centreville, MD. The practice of Yoga had always and continues to help me in so many ways that I thought I had better start sharing it with others as best I could. My hope for Anahata Yoga is that it can be a safe space for whatever you need it to be; community, healing, self-discovery, physical exercise, a place of stillness and quiet or maybe just a place where you can go for an hour and just be yourself. Self care is not selfish. The practice of Yoga is not escapist. The practice of Yoga encourages us to do the work of burning away the layers of things that do not serve us. By releasing distractions and extra noise, we can get to the heart of the matter. We clear away clutter to make space for more life. Welcome to Anahata Yoga!
